Standard headboards may be eligible for returns or exchanges according to Sofa Genie’s current Shipping & Returns policy. However, customised, upholstered-to-order, made-to-order, or specially manufactured headboards may be subject to specific cancellation, return, or exchange conditions.

Sofa Genie Headboards are designed with attention to quality, construction, materials, upholstery, finish, and long-term everyday use. Where applicable, warranty coverage is provided according to the specific warranty terms associated with the individual headboard and its components.

Warranty coverage may apply to eligible manufacturing defects or structural issues that occur under normal intended use during the applicable warranty period. The exact warranty duration, coverage, and components included can vary according to the specific headboard, materials, construction, and warranty terms provided with the product.

Warranty coverage generally does not apply to damage resulting from misuse, accidents, improper handling, excessive pressure or loading, unauthorised modifications, incorrect installation or assembly, neglect, improper cleaning, or failure to follow recommended care instructions.

Normal wear and tear, fabric ageing, stains, cuts, burns, scratches, accidental impact, moisture damage, colour fading caused by prolonged environmental exposure, and damage resulting from unsuitable room conditions may also fall outside warranty coverage.

For upholstered headboards, natural changes associated with regular use, including minor variations in fabric appearance or cushioning, may not be considered manufacturing defects. Fabric characteristics, texture variations, and minor differences in appearance can also occur depending on the selected material.

For natural wood or wood-based finishes, variations in grain, texture, colour, tone, knots, and natural markings are inherent characteristics and may not qualify as manufacturing defects.
