Eligible warranty coverage may apply to qualifying manufacturing defects, construction defects, structural issues, or eligible mechanism-related faults that occur during normal and intended use within the applicable warranty period. Warranty coverage generally does not extend to damage caused by misuse, accidents, impact, excessive loading, improper handling, forced operation of the reclining mechanism, incorrect assembly, unauthorised repairs or modifications, neglect, improper relocation, or failure to follow recommended product-care instructions.

Normal wear and tear associated with everyday use may not be covered. This can include upholstery wear, fabric or leather ageing, minor cushioning changes, surface scratches, stains, fading, marks, finish changes, and other cosmetic changes resulting from regular use.

Damage resulting from placing excessive weight on the footrest, standing on the chair, forcing the reclining mechanism, obstructing moving components, or using the recliner outside its intended purpose may fall outside warranty coverage.

For powered or motorised recliners, where applicable, warranty terms may specifically apply to electrical components, motors, controls, wiring, or other mechanism components. Coverage will depend on the product-specific warranty conditions.

For natural leather or timber recliners, variations in colour, texture, grain, markings, and surface character are inherent characteristics of the material. Gradual changes resulting from normal use, sunlight, humidity, temperature fluctuations, and ageing may occur and may not be considered manufacturing defects.

For upholstered recliners, normal fabric or leather wear, staining, fading, cuts, tears, burns, pet damage, improper cleaning, or excessive use-related deterioration may fall outside warranty coverage unless specifically included in the applicable warranty terms.
