Because outdoor chairs are exposed to environmental conditions, sunlight, rain, humidity, wind, dust, temperature changes, and other elements may naturally affect materials and finishes over time. Weather-related fading, discolouration, surface ageing, oxidation, corrosion, or other environmental changes may not be considered manufacturing defects unless specifically covered by the applicable product warranty.

For natural timber outdoor chairs, variations in wood grain, knots, texture, colour, and tone are inherent characteristics of natural wood. Natural movement and changes resulting from environmental exposure may also occur and may not be considered defects.

For outdoor upholstered or cushioned chairs, normal fabric ageing, gradual fading, staining, mildew caused by improper storage or prolonged moisture exposure, accidental damage, cuts, tears, burns, pet damage, or excessive wear may fall outside warranty coverage unless specifically included in the applicable warranty terms.
